JUNK joins the Philadelphia Orchestra for the 1st half of an evening of Dance Suites

Friday, March 10 at 8PM

Saturday, March 11 at 8PM

Sunday March 12 at 2PM.

We’re continuing our longstanding annual collaboration with the Philadelphia Orchestra with three performances of a Carmen.

Join us to experience Russian composer Rodion Schedrin’s Carmen Suite as a new, boldly reimagined contemporary telling of Carmen – JUNK style. Sanders lets go of the the Bizet/Meilhac/Halévy operaratic storyline and harkens us back to 1830 and the original telling of the tale via 2023.

The evening continues with the Orchestra’s performances of Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.
